Overview
December 2020 centered on Daniel stepping back from YouTube. He cited declining views since 2018, audience negativity, lost enjoyment and expenses from fabricated drama content. His income shifted toward stock trading, with YouTube reduced to about 30 percent.
Source recordings (2)
Stock trading ran through the month. He deposited £20,000 into Freetrade and moved toward growth stocks, holding Palantir, Landcadia 2 and Tesla, and discussed Tesla's S&P 500 inclusion and whether to sell.
Personal life in Rotterdam changed sharply. After Christmas with Mila and her family, Mila ended the relationship on Boxing Day, leaving Daniel angry and humiliated; he blocked her and began preparing to return to England.
Neighbor noise, a police raid next door and travel restrictions shaped his last weeks in Rotterdam. He left the Netherlands at the end of the month and faced a ten-day self-isolation, with Brexit timing a factor.
Reviews were mostly harsh: AirPods Max 1.1/10, PS5 2.2/10, Cyberpunk 2077 2.2/10 and Red Dead Redemption 2 2.6/10. The blue iPhone 12 mini was the exception, called his best phone so far despite some complaints.
