Overview
In July 2023 Daniel lives in Bangkok and attends Thai language school for a six-month education visa, after money problems, a tax bill and declining YouTube income blocked the Thai Elite Visa. Morning classes move video production and streaming to evenings. He reported about $1,000 monthly income against an $18,000 tax obligation.
Gaming is a main output: Diablo 4 Barbarian and Sorcerer builds around Patch 1.1.0a and Season of the Malignant, with Daniel unhappy about nerfs and seasonal design, plus negative views of Baldur's Gate 3 (quit and refunded), Remnant 2 and Armored Core 6.

A betta from Chatuchak Market grows into a wider aquarium hobby with tetras and shrimp; a betta later dies and white spot treatment is bought.
Relationships and family recur: divorce from Chihiro, friction with his girlfriend over money, a sister's wedding in England, and a preference for Bangkok. Reflection on childhood and past work also appear.
Bangkok IRL outings, markets, malls, ice skating and travel cautions fill out the month.
