In my experience, Southeast Asian women are kind of untidy. Fasta was the same. Didn't really tidy up. Kept hoarding stuff, clutter everywhere. Japanese and Korean women, on the other hand, very tidy. Borderline OCD. Most OCD woman I dated was Korean. Very tidy. Shahira was pretty tidy, but she still— and I remember complaining she kept leaving her hair dryer on the floor. And then you look at Southeast Asian cities, it's very cluttered, isn't it? Like, you walk around Bangkok There's just stuff everywhere on the sidewalk, the streets. It's like vendors and chairs and crap everywhere. And then you go from Bangkok to Japan and then you notice how tidy Japan is. I think it's the culture. They just like stuff everywhere. They like having stuff everywhere. You could hardly walk on the footpath in Bangkok. Just, I don't know, because they have these street food vendors and then they have plastic chairs everywhere and they just sit around. Maybe because it's so hot, people are just lazier, because when it's really hot, you don't really feel like doing anything. I remember my dad saying a similar thing, saying that if you're from a cold country, you gotta do stuff like I don't know what he said. To keep warm, you gotta create houses and stuff. I don't really see what his point was. Now I remember him saying like, if you're from a tropical country, people just sit around in hammocks sleeping all day. Makes you not very productive. Bitmine up £30. It keeps going up £30 and then loses it all. and I'm down £5, and the next day I'm up £30 again. I could have taken profit 3 times, made £100, but you never know if the time you take profit is the time when it rips and then you're not in it anymore, like when I got out Barrick Gold.

I'm gonna have to go long at the very top to stop myself getting margin called. I'm always short because I was promised a pullback. Where the fuck is the pullback? There was a 2% pullback and then it ripped again. Pulls back 2%, rips 4%. I'm scared of going long at the very top. September, October are supposed to be months of pullback. Yeah, bike ride was nice. Went to my school friend's house. The farm's looking good now since I last went there in 2005. Yeah, it's changed a lot. They used to have just like a bunch of really old-looking brick and concrete outhouses, and now it's like proper big warehouse kind of thing, like on Clarkson's Farm. Big roof. I don't know when they did that. Must have been expensive. And it seems like they've got some kind of car modding business there. Probably rented it out. I remember going there 20 years ago. It was full of all the village kids messing around with motorbikes and cars. I went there to see my old friend and there's just a whole village of kids hanging out there causing trouble. I spent 5 minutes and I left. I was like, nope, not being part of this rabble. Now they've probably got families and kids. They must all be 30 plus. Bet they all got kids now. And look at me, still in my childhood bedroom. No family, no kids. Why the hell is the market ripping but BMNR is not ripping. Look, it ripped 2%, which is 40% for me because I'm in 20x leverage. It had a head and shoulders and it broke the trend line. It was supposed to go down. Why is it going up again? Yeah, well, I'm a seasoned, experienced trader. Of course I can manage 20x leverage. Get my noodles. Impossible. Yeah, making money. Son K. I might post on YouTube as well.

He's a racist and Nazi and loves Hitler and he hates foreigners. My mum's obviously influenced by Dave Gibson, otherwise she would have no idea who Nigel Farage is. As if my mum knows anything about politics. Yeah, my mum had a friend who came over and asked her why she had the British flag up. Oh, I forgot to put the lid back on the frying pan. As if I'd have anything valuable in the house when I'm not there. Why would I not just take it all? I've got a car now. I'm not restricted to just putting it in a backpack. How much training do they need for just shooting their gun at the range? Seems like the easiest job ever. It's not like they solve crime or anything, or investigate. Maybe, maybe they're just normal policemen when there's nothing to do. Maybe there's policemen and then policemen plus armed policemen. So when you're not doing the armed policeman role, you're just a normal policeman wearing a normal police officer uniform, and then when there's something going down, they switch to armed policeman role. On this channel, we focus on money-related aspects, so we're just going to stick to that topic when covering this government shutdown. But later in this video, I'm going to be covering what the politicians are arguing about, which is important to this discussion because we want to get a sense of how long this situation is going to go on for. Now, let's begin here. What gets shut down in a federal government shutdown? Essential services will continue. Programs like Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, VA benefits remain funded. TSA is still going to be working, federal courts are still going, but there's going to be things and services that will be closed. So we're talking about certain national parks, the SBA, and economic data collection and reports. Now, this is very important because the jobs reports are released the first Friday of each month. So the jobs report—

7:03:32–7:03:34 · rev_77903887c506de2c916b65b8f2f1f92a_906The Department of Labor actually came up with a contingency plan in the event of a shutdown. Now I want to show it to you. So here's what it says on page 9 of the plan. Agency activities that will cease during a lapse. The Bureau of Labor Statistics, or the BLS, will suspend all operations. Economic data that are scheduled to be released during the lapse will not be released. All active data collection activities for BLS surveys will cease. So basically, in a nutshell, the jobs report is going to be delayed. Now, the CPI inflation report was scheduled to be released on October 15th, but this one too. So this report's also in jeopardy of being delayed. And I want you to think about that. That's a big deal because the Federal Reserve is— you have to remember, they're being data dependent and making their interest rate decisions Based on the jobs reports, the Federal Reserve has no reserves and it's not federal. With that in mind, I just want to say that the next Federal Reserve meeting is going to take place on October 29th. So there's still time, you know, there's still going to be time for these reports to be generated for them to review and make their decisions. But of course, that's under the assumption that the politicians are going to come to an agreement. They're going to settle this and reopen the government's relative quickly. Otherwise, I mean, if this thing drags out, then they're not going to produce the reports, and the Federal Reserve is going to have to make the decisions just in the dark. Now, another issue is that the government was planning on announcing the Social Security cost of living adjustment on October 15th. But that's another thing— if the inflation report is delayed, then the cost of living adjustment announcement is going to be delayed as well. But I just want to be crystal clear about this. Beneficiaries are still going to get their cost of living adjustments on time for 2026. However, I'm just pointing out that it's going to be frustrating that people are going to have to wait longer to get the official amounts, to get the official announcements. Moving on, I want to show you this. I thought this was very important to know, especially if you're in the stock markets. What does a government shutdown mean for the stock markets? The stats show That a government shutdown does not have a big impact on the stock markets. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing for you. Maybe some people are hoping that a government shutdown would scare the stock market, it would crash the stock market, and then you know you could buy the dip, create a buying opportunity. But that's not what history shows.

And you're going to see that the average performance during a shutdown was up 0.3%. The median performance was up 0.1%. So it's a fraction of a percent. It's not much impact. Now, this is very important for you to know if you're a precious metals investor. Okay, when a government shuts down, I mean, obviously that's not a good look. That screams political instability and it hurts a country's currency. It's common that a US government shutdown weakens the US dollar, which, I mean, already it's having a terrible year. But if the dollar weakens even further because of this, that's going to be good for commodities. That's going to be good for gold.

My opinion is that cash is trash, and these shutdowns, they're just making the situation even worse for the US dollar. Moving on to the labor markets, officials are saying that about 750,000 federal employees will be furloughed during the shutdown. Workers are going to be placed on leave without pay. However, you know, these federal employees, they're still going to be paid retroactively. It's basically back pay once the shutdown is over because of the Government Employee Fair Treatment Act. So the CBO says that essential federal employees will have to work without pay during the shutdown. However, there's going to be back pay, you know, for these employees. But when's the back pay going to be actually received? The law requires that employees be compensated on the earliest date possible after the government reopens Regardless of payroll schedules. However, I do want to point this out. I want to bring this to your attention. There's going to be exceptions. Members of Congress, so our senators, our politicians in the House of Representatives, they're still going to collect their paychecks during the shutdown, which is mandated under Article 1, Section 6 of the Constitution. Yeah, I mean, I just want to say, if this seems unfair to the millions of federal employees that are going to be waiting for their paycheck, But I guess that's just my opinion. U.S. Postal Service employees are going to continue to receive paychecks because the USPS is a self-funded independent agency. In terms of how a government shutdown is going to affect the U.S. economy in general, it's going to be similar to its effect on the stock market. A shutdown is going to have minimal impact on the U.S. economy. Employee— just think about it, because employees are going to get back pay, the government's going going to spend what they would have spent. So again, minimal impact. Now, here's a very important question. How long is the government shutdown going to last? In the past 50 years, the average shutdown lasts about 8 days. However, as you can see, it can vary greatly. Maybe it'll last a few days and maybe it's going to get resolved next week, or maybe it's going to drag out for quite some time.

Like, I mean, and this is like one of the things like one of the reasons why I wasn't as upset about like losing my dad now is that I thought I was gonna lose him 2 years ago. Like I was already past all 5 stages of grief at that point because like y'all, y'all didn't see this because I never talked about it really on my stream. But like he could, he couldn't even get up and walk to the door. Right. And so like, and this is going on for like a month. It was really, really, really, really, really, really fucking bad. And so at that point, obviously, like I had to do a lot more for him and I had to make sure I was available all the time for him. So, in a way, ever since I was 15, but I would say really in a more defined way, like 20, in early 20s, I'd say 23, 22 to now, I've spent my entire life basically being a caretaker for one or the other of them minus about 2 years, maybe a little bit less than 2 years. Now that they're both gone, there is a, uh, it's like a, you know, it's like you're, you're alone and you're also free. Most people think Bitcoin has one price, but on different exchanges, the price is never exactly the same. For example, one platform might show $100,000 while another shows $100,080.
