Can't swim in this, you'll get swept out into the sea. Look how powerful the waves are. Whoa, no, I'm on the beach of Malaysia. Are you gonna swim? No, I'm really out of breath. And the water's not clear. This is what the hotel looks like in the hallway. Look at this Japanese style, Japanese style woodwork. My mom is waiting for me.

5:07–5:08 · rev_53fa018c2be69645d2a0d61cc35a8da2_46And it was disgusting that she had to go to a doctor to get it treated. She had this big swelling. I think it was in 2012 when we came to Malaysia. She got a really bad mosquito bite and it swelled up, and then she poked it with a needle and squeezed the stuff out, and then it became all infected and gross. It was so disgusting. Then she had to go to get it treated or it would get infected or something. I got bitten a few times on my wrist, but they're very small, just very small bumps. I don't really get much of a reaction when I get bitten, so I'm very lucky. When it comes to mosquitoes— This is the main entrance room. Very fancy. Nice artwork. Traditional Chinese things.

And glass ceiling thing. I don't know what's in here. It says lounge. And here we have the spa, Chihiro Spa, the Spice Market. And the grill. Very nice. What is that? So weird. Wow, look at all the motorbikes, police bikes.

The bike is more expensive than the nameplate. They just leave their helmets. and their gloves and stuff. There was this really big convoy of police bikes and cars that passed us, and this really important governor guy drove by, and he's staying at this hotel, so they all came here to stay and protect him. The governor of Sabah or something like that. If I'm not mistaken. Staying at my hotel?

9:45–9:47 · rev_53fa018c2be69645d2a0d61cc35a8da2_56Who does he think he is? Listen to how loud it is at night, all of the insects and the frogs. Wait, listen to this. Can you hear all the chirping and stuff? They're so noisy. It's kind of a nice noise, I guess. I'm not complaining. It's just surprising how loud it is. Makes you feel like you're in the jungle. Hello, welcome back to my luxury hotel room. So this is probably the best hotel room that we've stayed in so far on the journey. It's a bit messy because I've been here for one night and I made a bit of a mess, but you can still see what it looks like. So this is the bathroom, probably the best bathroom I've used so far. So it's got a bathtub And it actually has working hot water that comes straight out hot without having to wait for like a warming up thing. And you've got a really nice shower without the stupid rainfall shower head. I really hate rainfall shower heads, you know, the ones where it's at the top and then the water just comes straight down and goes all into your eyes. You really need a shower that comes out at an angle. Otherwise, when I'm under a rainfall shower head, I kind of have to slouch or lean backwards so the water hits my body and it doesn't just go straight onto the top of my head, which is what happens with a rainfall shower head. The only good point about a rainfall shower head is when you want to rinse the shampoo out of your hair, then it's really good. But for everything else, I prefer an angled shower head. It's much more convenient. And then you've got the toilet, very nice, and hair dryer and Lots of shampoo stuff, and you've got loads of mirrors too. So you've got mirror number 1, 2, 3, and like an infinity mirror effect, so you can look at yourself from every angle. And then there's loads of storage that I never use. Does anyone actually use the closets and stuff when they go to a hotel room?

13:44–13:44 · rev_53fa018c2be69645d2a0d61cc35a8da2_58How much luggage and how many outfits would you have to have to actually need all these hangers and stuff and fill it full of clothing? I never touched the— oh, they've got slippers! I didn't know that. I didn't realize they had slippers. And they have bathrobe. Hmm, what else do you have? Loads of storage. Just seems like a waste of space. Then you've got this nice big mirror here. Do you like my shorts? I went swimming in my shorts. And got a nice big bed that I messed up. Got this nice wall art thing going on here made out of wood. What else do we have? Oh, the compliment stuff. Complimentary drinks. You get this strange hat cover thing. It's called a tudung saji. I think that's the name of the thing that's under the hat. Traditional conical cover. Oh, it is the COVID thing. In every traditional Malay home, it's used to cover food to keep insects at bay. So you lift this up, it's on a hinge. See the hinge? And you get this. I haven't opened this yet. See what's inside this box. It's a bit hard to open. Okay, so you get some kind of snacks. Banhung. I don't know what that means. I know this second kanji means Fragrance, something like that, I think. I'm not sure what that first one is. I'm gonna guess it's honey. It kind of looks like honey, maybe like a honey snack. It feels soft. And this one— oh, almond! Huh, so this must mean almond, I guess. I've never seen that kanji before. Maybe I'll try it later. And then, oh yeah, drinks. You get these bottles as well, and at first I thought it said you gotta pay 53 ringgits, which is about £10, to drink the water. But I think it means you have to pay £10 if you want to keep the bottle, which I don't know why you'd want to keep the bottle. It's just a glass bottle, it's not that special. It'd be weird if they charge you £10 just to drink water. It says water provided without compliments. So I'm pretty sure the water is free to drink. It's just, it just tastes like normal water. So in here you have the kettle, which I put up there, and then you've got some cups. And the coffee section, you just get Nescafé instant, sugar, tea bags, some sauces.

Which gives you a nice view of the pool and the tree, which is an interesting tree. It's a really nice big tree that gives this nice shade, and I wonder how did they get the tree inside of the hotel complex. Did they find the tree first and then decide to build the hotel around the tree, or did they build the hotel first and And then decide to grow the tree there, or do they just find the tree from another place and then uproot it and then replant it here? I don't know, it sounds very mysterious. There's another one over there. They're really nice trees, gives this very nice nature feeling, so you can just relax on your balcony. It's really nice, it's really nice and peaceful. just sitting here. You can go for a swim. I went for a swim yesterday. You can also go swimming in the sea, but the sea's a bit rough right now. So this is the view. Can you imagine just living here like this was some kind of community? Community village that everyone just lived at. It would be like some kind of paradise that would eventually become very boring, I guess. So, this is the garden view hotel rooms. We don't have a sea view hotel room because they were fully booked. You can see into other people's rooms, which is kind of strange. Would prefer to have a bit more privacy from the balcony, but it's very hot out here. It's so hot I had to start wearing shorts even though I never wear shorts. It's, it's just too hot to wear jeans or trousers. Usually I never wear shorts because my legs are just so skinny and I feel kind of embarrassed, but when it gets this hot you start to stop caring about what you look like. Okay, I think that's all for the room tour. Not sure what we're doing today. I think we're going to some kind of temple and then eating and then maybe more swimming, and then we're gonna leave. Only staying here for 2 nights, and then we're going.
