Hello and welcome to this video tour of my family home, which is behind me, in England. I just wanted to make a quick video showing you the inside of my home that I grew up in, talk about the history, show you around, and yeah, that's— that is the plan. You may be thinking that this could be a bad idea. Isn't it a bad idea to advertise my expensive home? To potential burglars and thieves? Well, once you've seen the video, you'll realize that there really isn't anything of value inside of the house, and you're wasting— you'll be wasting your time if you try. Well, there's a pretty nice TV, but do you really want to risk going to jail over a TV? I don't think so. And if you do try and enter uninvited, you will be savagely attacked by Mrs. Mimo. So you have been warned. If you really want to rob someone here, then I suggest you go up the road and rob our neighbours because they have a much nicer house and they probably have much nicer things inside and we don't really like them. And this is the front of the house. You can see my bedroom up there and you can see the kitchen extension, the garage that my grandfather built. Still standing. There used to be a lot of concrete constructions out here in the front that my dad knocked down. There used to be a greenhouse here as well. My dad knocked that down as well. A lot of the things my granddad built have been knocked down by my dad when we first moved in here. And my mum had these wooden gates installed After my dad passed away, which look nice, I guess, but it's kind of annoying having to open and close it every time you want to drive out. And then you unbolt it here, and then it swings like this. And then you put this metal thing down so it stays in place. I don't know if you can hear me, it's kind of windy. And then if we go around here, you can see this side. Where there's the woodshed where the wood is stored, and there's more gardens around here. And this is the patio, conservatory, a bench, and there's my wife.

Fried squid. Okay, so we start off at the entrance. This is the main entrance of the house. where we keep our shoes and our coats and a pile of junk. To the left, there is a guest room where the guests stay. Currently, me and my wife are staying here. We have 2 beds, carpet, radiator, drawers. Okay, so let's move on to the kitchen. This is the kitchen. As you can see, it's fairly big. That's because my dad built a kitchen extension. The original size of the kitchen was just this bit in front of us. There used to be a wall that went here, and that was how big the kitchen was. It was fairly small, but my dad built an entirely new block to extend the kitchen, so it's pretty big, as you can see. Very good for having food at this table, and there's lots of storage. Utility room is around here, and there's a toilet and shower. And then we go into the living room. Living room is here. We have TV, sofa, conservatory. The conservatory wasn't here originally. My dad added it onto the house. And yeah, there's a bunch of chairs. This is such a boring idea for a video. Jesus Christ. This is the living room, the main living room where we usually relax and watch TV. There's a fireplace which is very nice during the winter. And what else do we have? Um, yeah, let's go on to the next area. This is the— this is the hallway. Not much to say about that. This is the second living room. I'm not sure why there's 2 living rooms, but we don't use this room much. There's a piano It's not valuable. It's just crappy old wooden cheap piano that's all out of tune. It's not an antique. And we have a big TV that is bolted, bolted into the wall, so I don't think you'll be able to lift that out unless you had some power tools. Uh, it's kind of dark in here because My mum got these shutters to shut things. Well, we have an office room here which is currently being used as a junk room. A lot of junk in here. Old fridge. This used to be the main entrance. This used to be a door here, but my dad Decided to close it off and make it into a little room. This is the only room that's been unfinished. Look at the walls. This is what the house used to look like before my dad fixed it up. My granddad thought that purple and yellow was a good color combination for the wallpaper and the interior of the house. It's kind of sad my dad never got to finish this last room before he left us. A lot of his tools are still in here as well. You can see these tools, nuts and bolts, little spanners and stuff. Those are all his. Haven't gotten around to sorting this room out. And this orange suitcase used to belong to my Korean girlfriend. I can't remember why she left it here. So we got the stairs. And then we are on the 2nd floor where we are greeted by 2 bathrooms left and right. We have a sink, washroom, mirror— that is me— and we have a toilet, shower, nothing really special. It's okay. And the second bathroom, we have a bathtub. I think that's my towel. No, I hung the towel up. It's not mine. We have a mirror, toilet, sink, window. It's quite a nice bathroom. And then if we turn around, we have this electronic gizmo that my dad actually made all by himself. He got this casing and somehow programmed it, put some kind of— I don't know, like a processing chip that controls the heating of the house. I don't understand how it works. It's his own design. Can't buy that in the shops. And then we have laundry, window where you can see out onto the driveway. Garage. My granddad built that garage. It's still standing. And we have papers on the floor, a red filing cabinet which is full of papers that my dad stored. I don't know what kind of information they have. Mecha instructions for outfit number 6. Oh, it's Meccano. And then we have my bedroom. This is where my cat is. Oh look, it's Mrs. Mimo! Are you going to heroically defend the house if anyone robs us? What say you? Oh well, you're just gonna leave? That's not very friendly.

How rude! Who said you could sleep on my bed? Um, yeah, so this is my bedroom. This is where I used to play computer games all day long, and this is where I used to make YouTube videos before I moved to Japan. I've got a lot of computing stuff, an Xbox One controller. But I don't have an Xbox One, so why do I have it? I don't know. We have an empty iPad Pro box. There's no iPads in there. My good old blue computer chair. Um, yeah, that's my bedroom. Nothing too special. A lot of clothing.

Why is this here? This is one of my favourite jumpers. I guess I didn't bring it to Japan because when I went to Japan it was summer. Glad to see that again because I'm getting fed up with these brown jumpers. It's nice to have variation. Uh, what else can I show you? Well, there's my sister's room, but I don't think I want to show you in there. She might be upset if I open it. I'll give you a quick sneak peek. Yeah, it's not that interesting. Double bed. There's also a balcony. Balcony's here, and there's air conditioning, heater, fan extraction, fan thing units on the outside. I remember helping my dad lift those. out onto this balcony. He said, Daniel, can you help me for a second? And I said, oh, okay. I didn't like helping because I was too busy playing video games, and I used to find it annoying when he asked me for help. Now I feel bad because I should have helped more. Oh well, it's too late now. So that's my sister's room. Oh, here you can see a crack, a crack in the bathroom door because that was about 16 years ago when I was about 14 or 15. Me and my sister had a big fight over the computer and I got angry and I kicked the door. I didn't realize I kicked it that hard, but it cracked the wood and I tried covering it up by painting I used Warhammer paint, white paint, to try and cover it up. My dad found out and he was very angry. Interestingly, he never fixed it. I guess it's too much work to replace an entire door just because of a tiny crack. So this is the first computing area. This is where our first computer was, and this is where I used to play World of Warcraft when I was about 17. And I used to play it until very late into the night, and because my parents' room's right there and the bed's right around the corner, my dad used to get very angry. He would tell me to go to bed and I would ignore him. One night I was raiding Molten Core with my friends, and then he just came out, switched the power off by the mains when I was in Molten Core. Can you believe that? I was so angry. Me and my dad had a lot of arguments about World of Warcraft. And then when I was about 18, I got my own computer and I stopped using this area, and then it became my dad's computing area. This is where he used to sit to, um, write emails and do work, plan things for the house. It hasn't really been touched much since he passed away, so it's kind of left as it was the last time he used it. Which is kind of sad now to think of it. When I look, when I look at this area, I can just imagine him still being here and I can kind of feel his presence. I'm not sure what this blue machine is, and there's a lot of piping wires down there. I think that's everything. It feels like it's a big house, but then there's not really that many rooms. It doesn't feel that huge inside. From the outside it looks big, but from the inside— I guess it's because I'm used to it now— doesn't feel like it's very big. Yeah, this is where I used to live from the age of 10 until about 28. I used to live here with my parents. Now I live in Japan. I do miss the place sometimes, and it's going to be very sad when we have to sell it. I don't know if we'll have to sell it. Maybe me and my sister could just keep it if we can afford to. I wouldn't want to sell it. There's a lot of sentimental value for me in this place. Sometimes money just isn't that important. So I hope you enjoy my— hope you enjoyed my house tour. Sorry if it was kind of boring. I guess there's a lot more things I could have talked about, but I don't really want the video to be going on and on and on forever.
