Hello, welcome back to a new video. So as you can see in front of me, I have the Insta360 GO 3S, and I've been using it for a while now. Decided to make a review about why I kind of regret buying this thing. So the hardware is pretty nice, it looks great and everything, it's a very sleek, compact little camera. But the main problem with this, I find, after shooting with it for several times, I believe that the video quality is Abysmal. So even though it boasts that it's got 4K, the 4K footage looks grainy and rubbish. And if there's not enough light, if it's a cloudy day, even though it's daytime, the footage looks really bad. It looks worse than my 5-year-old smartphone, and I'm using an iPhone 12 for my main phone, which is over 5, 4 years old now, and I'm using a Samsung S10+ to shoot this video. And I honestly think the Samsung S10+ camera video quality looks better than what you get out of this. There's something very uninspiring when it comes to the video quality of this little camera. It just looks like you're shooting from a smartphone that's over 5 years old. Nearly everything about this camera is bad. The video quality is bad. The low-light capability is awful. It's really bad when it gets dark. Even on a cloudy day, it starts getting grainy because it has to boost the ISO to make it viewable. And the stabilization is also pretty bad, which is shocking coming from something that's supposed to be an action cam. I don't know why, but when I was running when it was cloudy and not very bright, the stabilization obviously was struggling and there was jitteriness and it just didn't look very good. I really think my older GoPro, my GoPro Hero 7, had better stabilization because it just looks pretty bad on this. Maybe you got a boost the level of the stabilization, I'm not sure. So then you've got these different accessories. This one really sucks. So it's got a sticky bottom, and the idea is you can stick it on stuff, pull it off, reuse it, and it's supposed to stay sticky. The problem is it's not very sticky. So I tried sticking this on my car dashboard so I can get some driving POV shots, and after going over a few potholes and hitting a few speed bumps, The thing actually just came off and fell off, so I wasn't very impressed. What are you doing? I'm trying to get my camera.

The problem is when you're running, which is what you'd probably be doing when you're wearing that because you're hands-free, when you're running or moving quickly, it's very shaky and the stabilization doesn't do a very good job of keeping it stable. So the only point of this camera that is good, the only good thing this camera does, is be a small compact camera. If you're looking for something that you can attach to your head or your chest or attach to random places like on the side of your car magnetically, this is hands down the best camera on the market because it's got this magnet, it's got all these accessories, it's really small, so it is really nice to have this small camera. But that is the only thing it does well. When it comes to everything else like video quality, stabilization, low light, it's all rubbish compared to a smartphone. You would get better video out of a smartphone that's 5 years old. The only time I would say this is really good is for times when you just want the camera to be filming what you're doing and not get in the way, and setting up certain creative shots that you just wouldn't really be able to do with a smartphone or a larger camera. So for those reasons, it would be quite a good little travel companion camera if you don't really care about the video quality. If you just think, well, it's fine, people can see what's going on, it's clear enough, it's sharp enough, doesn't matter if it's a bit grainy or looks a bit dull, I don't care because I just want to be able to take the shot in the first place. If you're thinking in those lines, then I guess this camera would be fine. But if you're someone who wanted to upgrade from your phone or your older GoPro and you were expecting much better video quality, then I don't really think this is going to scratch your itch. I feel like I'm going to return this because the videos I'm shooting with it actually look kind of worse than what I was already shooting with my phones, and I just don't really see myself doing that much active sports or POV stuff to the point where I need something like this. So yeah, I'm probably going to return this. I am a bit disappointed with it. It is kind of a shame that action cameras haven't really improved at all when it comes to their main weaknesses, which would be low-light capability. Why can't they just make the sensor a bit bigger? Is it really that difficult?
