It's about 9 AM in the morning and the Turkish girl should be coming in around an hour. She's going to be coming here, so I need to go out to the entrance and look out for her. I guess I am a little bit nervous. I'm not sure what she's going to be like. We've chatted a bit on Instagram, but we haven't done any video calls or anything. And we haven't really chatted a huge amount, so yeah, she's a bit of a mystery to me. Anyway, I just had a shower and I'm all cleaned up. I do have a bit of a problem with the rubbish situation. My bin is completely full of decomposing leftover food, and that over there— let me see— see, you can see that? That's a, um, it's a duck leg bone sticking out, and I'm using this bag as a second bin. I just don't really like letting the cleaning people into the room because I'm in, I'm in the room and I want privacy, and I don't usually leave the room until very late, until around 5 PM. By then they're not really cleaning rooms anymore, so if I wanted the room to get cleaned, I would have to be out of the room when I want to be in the room. Anyway, I don't think it really matters because I'm quite a tidy person. Look, it's very nice and tidy. So yeah, I'm just gonna wait another hour and then she should be here. I decided not to ditch the microphone. That's why it's still here. Maybe I'll ditch it in this hotel. I don't know. And yesterday I went to Uniqlo. And I bought 2 new hoodies. I'm wearing one of them. I got this white one, or light grey one, and I also got a dark blue one. I think it looks quite nice. Okay, so it's now 11 AM and I haven't heard anything from her. I thought she would have reached the hotel by now and then connected to the Wi-Fi and then messaged me, but she hasn't. So I guess I should go down there And see if she's waiting. Can't see her anywhere. Maybe she got lost. Maybe I'll just go back to my room then.

Segment details
8:24–9:20 · rev_bd76dde8a5b74304fa8768f64e2e5726_37It tastes like a warm, flat Coca-Cola. Everything's closed. It's a Monday afternoon and the whole town is dead. Zombie apocalypse town. No people. Look, the sandwiches are there. They just leave the sandwiches there unattended, rotting. What happened? Why is there police and ambulances? Smells like smoke. I thought it was dust, but it was smoky, not dusty. Whoa, why is it so windy? Smells like barbecue.
