Hello and welcome to today's video. So today I have to sell my iPhone 11. Can't get the stupid thing out of the box. And the reason why I'm selling it is because, well, moving around from Airbnb to Airbnb is kind of expensive. And in order to save some money, I've decided that I no longer want my iPhone 11. I never use it anyway. It was just kind of— it was just a waste of money. I don't even know why I bought it in the first place. And I think I'll just get rid of it, try and make some money off off of it. According to Google Maps, there should be a shop that I can sell my iPhone to somewhere around here.

3:40–3:55 · rev_a439e8e4158914d11c8833c606d3e680_13I can't believe I got ¥100,000 for my used secondhand iPhone 11 that I bought in September. I was expecting to get about ¥60,000 or ¥70,000, but then he offered me ¥100,000, and that's about ¥30,000 less than what I paid for it in the first place. So in total, I only lost about ¥30,000 from buying the iPhone 11, which isn't much. Well, I guess it is quite a lot if you think about it, because I'm down ¥30,000 and all I have to show for it is, well, I got to use the iPhone 11 for about a month. So you might be wondering, why did I sell the iPhone 11? Wasn't I happy with it? What was wrong with it? And There were many things wrong with it. I just, just, just— well, I just didn't like it because the Samsung S10+ does everything way better, and the GoPro is much better for wide angle. So I just didn't really find myself ever using the iPhone 11. The only time I used it was right before I went to bed and in the morning because I just had it under my pillow. And it just stayed under my pillow the whole time because during the day I would just use my iPad or my laptop or my phone. It just didn't make any sense to have 2 phones, and I would never choose to use the iPhone 11 to make videos unless all of my other devices broke or I lost them. So it just didn't really make any sense to, to have it. And Now that I got about $900, I think it's $900. ¥100,000 is about $920. So I got a pretty good, um, I got a pretty good price from that man. That man's very nice. I think I have a bit of a problem when it comes to impulse buying. The problem is I get bored and then I see something that looks nice, like a new iPhone or a new gadget, and I want it and I end up just buying it and it's fun for the first few days or the first week and then after that first week is over, I kind of regret buying it. I always end up regretting buying something. Recently, I bought the Osmo Action and it's just not very good. I thought it would be, but I just prefer the GoPro, so I need to get rid of that as well. I really need to stop buying stuff I don't need. and then selling it and then losing money. It's such a waste of money. And it's like I explained earlier, moving around to all of these Airbnbs is kind of expensive. Usually Airbnb is pretty, pretty affordable, pretty cost-effective, but they hit you with these cleaning fees, and it's the cleaning fees that end up making it kind of expensive. If you just stay 2 days in an Airbnb, The cleaning fee will be almost the same price as 2 nights, so if you're staying in an Airbnb for a week or more, then it doesn't really matter. But I like to move around to different Airbnbs because I kind of like sleeping in different beds and using different Airbnbs just for the experience. I get bored being stuck in one place the whole time, and I think I've spent nearly all of my income from this month on Airbnbs alone, so I needed to try and find a way to get some extra cash, and selling the electronics I never use is actually a good idea. Also, it makes my luggage a lot lighter. I really want to shrink my luggage. I feel like I have a lot of things that I don't actually need to have in my luggage. It's okay, don't worry, I'm not running out of money. I'm not broke. I've got— Stupid train, so irritating. Don't worry, I'm not going broke. I still have plenty of money to be able to keep myself off the streets. I'm not making this video to try and secretly beg for money. I'm not begging for money. I'm just, you know, what am I doing? I don't know. Walking around in a bloody field next to a river in the dark. That's what I'm doing. Maybe this video could be kind of useful if you want to sell your phone in Japan. I didn't even know you could sell your phone in Japan like that until recently, but yeah, there's loads of shops where you can just go in and it doesn't matter if you're not Japanese. I was surprised that guy could speak pretty decent English. Yeah, you just go in, just show them what you want to sell, and then they'll check it, see if it works, see if the SIM cards work on it. Just wait about 10 minutes and then he'll Give you a price and he'll just give you cash. You don't even have to sign anything. He might ask you for ID. He asked me for ID. He also asked me to show him a receipt just in case— I don't know, maybe he thought I stole it. It would be pretty easy to sell stolen goods. I'm not sure what would have happened if I said I didn't have a receipt. Luckily, I had the email receipt when I Ordered it from Apple.
