Overview
October 2021 centers on Daniel's life in Manchester: boredom, loneliness, low motivation and worries about appearance and breakouts. Earning money online removed the structure of working life and left him feeling empty; he lost interest in hobbies, video making and investing and hopes the coming year improves. Heavy gaming, streaming, domestic routines and trading fill the days.
Dating was a recurring struggle with few matches. A filtered-photo experiment raised matches, and Daniel decided to pause dating until Japan reopens rather than change his look. He regretted oversharing relationship conflict with Chihiro for views and criticized creators who chase views.
Content strategy favored negative reviews and provocative commentary because they earned more views and revenue. Game scores were harsh (Squid Game, Monster Hunter Rise, Back 4 Blood, Dune, Metroid Dread, Darkest Dungeon 2, Age of Empires 4), though New World, reviewed negatively, became a favorite before boredom set in at level 60.
Trading and income ran through many sources: NASDAQ shorts with losses, gains in Ford, JPMorgan and others, losses in hype stocks, crypto and CFDs, and online income approaching $2,300 a month. A lost inheritance is also mentioned.
A male torso doll bought for OnlyFans content was delayed, collected, found defective, and modified, with minor bleeding reported and a replacement ordered.
Travel and relocation (Japan, Greece, Poland, Ukraine) are recurring plans as the lease nears its end, but border reopening, entry rules and safety remain unclear.
